We are trying something different at the RatsPacNW Fall show.  We invite you to enter a decorated CAGE or Aquarium similar to the cat habitats on display at the 4 H Cat displays at the Evergreen State and Puyallup Fairs.

 Guidelines for Habitats

·      Use rat safe wire cage, 10 gal aquarium cage or large show box.  Maximum cage size is 24" long x 36" high.

·      Pay $3.00 entry fee

·      Rats will be displayed in cages at the exhibitors table throughout the day
ALL rats entering MUST be pre-entered by Sept. 9th and follow quarantine procedures as required by RatsPacNW

·      Decorate the habitats creatively.

·      They should be decorated with a theme.

·      Attach a 3 X 5 card to the outside of the aquarium stating your name, name of the rat, age of the rat, and theme of the aquarium.

·      Aquariums will be judged according to the following criteria.

o     Overall creativity.

o     Consistency of decorations/furnishings with the theme.

o     Comfort of rat(s) with environment.

o     Creativity in meeting needs of rat for food, water, and toilet.

     ·      The following ribbons will be awarded:

o      Best Rosette

o     First, Second, & Third Place
